The 280gr Recce MSC (Machined Solid Copper) projectiles are a non-expanding design optimized for >100M subsonic shooting. Dispersion/Accuracy performance exceeds the already excellent 188gr 300BLK and 280gr 8.6BLK Selous subsonic hunting projectiles. The patented gas checks found on the Recce line of subsonic projectiles ensure solid engraving and minimal pressure spiking. Terminal penetration is nearly double that of the expanders, and due to the Recce’s meplat (tip) shape. Finally, our two load (hunting/target) system will benefit from closer POI at distance. Recce projectiles are MOA capable – 500M subsonic shots on small plates are now possible with the right loading!
Optimal muzzle velocity is barrel dependent but is typically in the 950-1000fps
